Faces of Freedom

When I received a phone call from someone named Bob Swensen, I just knew I had heard that name before. Bob had found my portfolio on FineArtAmerica.com and was calling to ask if I would be willing to donate a portrait to his non-profit organization. He explained that he was organizing a traveling portrait exhibit where the subjects of the portraits were people from around the world who have been rescued from human trafficking.

As an artist, I have always looked for ways that art could be used to make this world a better place. I believe Bob came up with the perfect solution. I have done approximately a dozen portraits for the Faces of Freedom art exhibit as of this writing.

Oh, by the way, I remembered after a while why Bob Swensen sounded familiar. He is a former Denver Bronco and was part of the famous “Orange Crush” team in the 70s and 80s. How cool is that?
